Great Word! Praying in the Spirit is always the answer!

-Helen Utegaard

You will deal a whole lot more efficiently praying in the Spirit than you will praying in English. Just yield yourself to the process of trust, and pray about what concerns you in the Spirit. I’m not talking about concern from an anxious place. Scripture says He will perfect that which will concerns you (Ps. 138:8)… and the best way to do that is in the Spirit!

We may face pressure — pressure physically, pressure to perform, pressure to be what people want us to be, pressure to measure up relationally, financially. But when we pray in the Spirit, we press back! We are breaking through!

And faith does not look to see if it’s going well. Faith responds constantly to the efforts of opposition, continually breaking through and moving through all adversity — even the adversity of our minds and the opposition of thoughts.

We are working beyond the circumstance and the situation, and God will deal with It in the way that He knows how to deal with it. And it will be dealt with… period!

“So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance.” (Rom. 8:26 AMPC)
