Prophets of doom literally have no solution to their judgements. The reason: What they claim will stay the destruction is usually something that can never be achieved. Therefore, according to their prophecies, doom is the only possible outcome.
I'm so glad I serve a God who is bigger than any man's cerebral capacity. A God who chose grace to be the operative structure of His kingdom, so that nothing is either impossible or inescapable.
The world needs to hear the GOOD NEWS. They already live the bad news.

What is Scripture for?

Let’s embrace what Jesus said and live by “...every word that proceeds from the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4). That includes the words that feed us and tell us who we are in Christ, and also the words that correct us and help us to live the way God desires.
