HOW DO I KNOW IF IT'S A LEGIT "SUPERNATURAL ENCOUNTER?"

I absolutely believe in supernatural encounters: heavenly visitations, angelic experiences, the Cloud of Witnesses, etc.  However, if the end-goal of someone's "encounter" is to simply go on and on about how supernatural their experience was, and they don't give themselves to pursuing Jesus and His mission in the Earth with increased fervency and focus, I have a right to question the "encounter." 

We don't need to be going out there, sharing goofy-sounding stories that simply exalt our experiences, as if these stories are a testimony to how "spiritual" we are.  I believe these encounters are real, absolutely.  However, they are never meant to showcase our spirituality. 

A true heavenly experience is a sovereign, sacred gift that should fix our eyes all the more on King Jesus, the reality of His world, and the glorious commission of seeing the Lamb of God receive everything He prayed and paid for.

PRAY about the leaders that you may be following, and ask God to show you if you should be following them!
Pursue purity and holiness, yourself, and the Holy Spirit will reveal to you those that ARE called and ARE ordained of Him, and ARE pure in His sight.
You are responsible for THAT, Church!
The sheep know HIS VOICE!
Praying for those in authority means all leaders...as you pray FOR them, the Holy Spirit can show you things, too, giving you what you need to either follow them or RUN!

Dear friends, we in Nebraska covet your prayers regarding the historic flooding surrounding Omaha. Our city is surrounded by rivers and many of the low lying areas around the metro are under water. There is also a water treatment plant under water. Our church and home are in safe areas, but we have church members from Lord of Hosts Church who are having to evacuate at this time. 😢 This is being reported as the most historic flood in this area in a century.

Update from Prayer Walk America: Appeal to Heaven
Let’s keep praying, Church!

Today John covered 16.2 miles from Sapulpa into Tulsa, Oklahoma. Heavy rain was predicted, but the Lord was gracious to hold it off until John was done for the day. ‘Father, You are so good to Your kids! We continue to ask You for a mighty spiritual awakening across America so that millions of folks open their hearts to You, receive Your Goodness and realize that YOU ARE THE BEST DAD EVER! Pour out Your Holy Spirit across this land, O Lord! 
In Jesus’ name!! Amen!!!’

John was so grateful that the heavy rain held off while he was walking today! As he walks, he spends hours praying ‘in the Spirit’, allowing the Holy Spirit to pray through him for our nation. ‘Father, thanks for hearing our prayers! Thanks that Your answers to those prayers are all on the way! Amen!’

We were so blessed today by Ken at ‘Hunter RV’ in Sapulpa! I went in to buy propane and shared about this prayer journey. Ken then gave us a large bucket of chemicals for our holding tank, had his staff empty our tank and fill up our fresh water system, just to help us on our way! ‘Father, bless Ken, the 3 grandkids that live with him and the entire ‘Hunter RV’ staff with Your tangible Glory! Meet every need and draw every heart to You! In Jesus name we pray!!’

We ended our day in the middle of Tulsa, then found a ‘random’ Walmart parking lot for the night. John had always wanted to see the Praying Hands statue at ORU, so we ‘googled’ to see where in Tulsa that was. In this sprawling city of .5 million, ORU was right across the street! What a ‘God thing’ that was! The Lord has gone out of His way to bless us today, and we are so grateful!

‘Father, we thank You for all of the answers to prayer that you’ve poured out on us today. We love You, our mighty Savior! We trust You to Awaken Your Church to pray, and we trust You to bring repentance and Salvation to this nation, from Hollywood to Wall Street! In Jesus wonderful name! Yes and Amen!’

Based on the facts, any honest deduction must conclude that the American church's silence and withdrawal from the public square has allowed those who do not espouse biblical values nor honor our Christian heritage to take over much of America's leadership. Obviously, the opposite could have occurred: had the Body of Christ been engaged we could have prevented abortion, infanticide, the rejecting of America’s Christian roots, the taking over of our education system by humanists and secularists, God’s expulsion from the public square and more. By default, we helped create that which we loathe.

If ending the lives of surviving, struggling babies on bloody abortion tables is not enough to motivate the church of America and its leaders to regain their voices, I'm not sure what can. If literal infanticide, celebrated by governors and legislatures around this nation with cheering and lit-up buildings, is not enough to awaken the conscience of the American church, then I fear it is too late.

 

Leaders, please do not try and circumvent this decision by pinning America's future on "the sovereignty of God." God’s sovereignty does not negate our choices nor absolve us of the consequences. The prophet Ezekiel was told, "When I say to the wicked, ‘O wicked man, you will surely die,’ and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require from your hand" (Ezekiel 33:8 NASB). We, the church, are God’s voice in the earth and we must speak.

Church of America, I plead with you: find your voice and make a stand.

Daniel’s prayer took him through the lion’s den. It wasn’t just angels just swooping down and securing the deliverance.

Heavenly and angelic demonstrations are moved by utterance. So even for that angel to shut that lion’s mouth, something, somewhere was prayed.

We just look at the fact that Daniel didn’t get eaten. But it was the power of prayer that took him through the den and to his place.

In other words, no one could steal from him —
even if it went as far as the den.

Daniel went through persecution. He went through the torment. He went through the den. And then he took his place!
