"I sometimes encounter blowback for allegedly mixing religion with politics. I think, however, that we have entered a period of time when separating the two has become impossible. There was a time when the parties simply represented different approaches to welfare and economics, but now there are clear moral issues involved, beginning with abortion (infanticide) and human sexuality. As a pastor, accountable for preaching the Word of God faithfully, I cannot ignore those issues. Get past the personalities involved and examine the party platforms. Then vote Christian principles and morality."
